Each holiday season, The Salvation Army engages in the tradition of "staffing the kettles" to promote the plight of the needy in Brunswick and the Golden Isles. This practice is critical to The Salvation Army's cause, as the money it raises supports the organization’s programs for the rest of the year. Thanks to the generosity of thousands fine folks in our area and businesses, The Salvation Army can continue to provide valuable programs such as the Emergency and Transitional Shelter and through our Social Services.

During the holidays children receive gifts through the Angel Tree Program. Clothing, food and other items are donated to individuals and families and senior citizens receive gifts and visits.
